What did you do this summer?
In May, I went on the trip of a lifetime! I went to three cities in Europe: Paris, Rome, and Barcelona. In Paris, I went to the contemporary art museum and saw an exhibition of works by Matisse. Matisse always made drafts of his paintings (similar to how we draft an essay) and it was very interesting to see his creative process. In Rome, I visited the underground portion of the Colosseum. This is where the gladiators and slaves prepared for each show. In Barcelona, I watched FC Barcelona's last regional soccer game against Bilbao. It was so fun to experience Spain's soccer culture. In all, I had a great time and want to go back soon!

I had a busy summer holiday. Although it was busy, I think I learned something from it. In June, I went to Hainan province. It is the most southern of china. I spent 2 weeks making a plan. I need do something before I go to Hainan such as tickets, luggage and hotel. But I need my parents opinions about my plan. As for me, their opinions are very important. They thought that it was agood chance for me to improve myself. I think it is a challenge to me. When I arrived in Hainan, I must face many problems, like bus route and weather. But I ate delicious food and acquired knowledge in Hainan. However it was hard, I became more independent than before. So I think I had a wonderful trip in my summer holiday.

Well, before I came to America ,my parents made time to have a short vacation with the whole family.However,they were just free in weekends,so we had to choose a nearby city,namely Guangzhou.one of my parents friend had been there for over 30 years,so he joined us and be our guide. When we arrived there in the afternoon,he carried us to a restaurant which was famous for making beef hot pot. That was the most delicious beef that I had never eaten before. The most significant reason for us to choose go there was the local special food. So in the next 2 days, we tasted all types of local popular food and knew more about their eating habits.This city is near the ocean,so we surely couldn't give up the opportunity to taste the seafood and the relative congee.During the period,I was deeply fascinated in the food.Happy time always go faster,it was time for us to leave.Goodbye,my dear food.If I had time,i would come here again.And,I hope that day will not be so far from now.

DeleteIn the summer, I was taking classes over all the summer. so, I didn't go away from Tucson. Tow weeks ago, we had a vocation and everyday I went to my friend's APT to eat breakfast because of ( Ramadan ), which is one of the five pillars of Islam. However, I just changed my place and moved to another APT. So, I think I had a relaxing summer.

DeleteOh.Pretty good!I'm Chem.In this summer,I traveled in China.I've been to Hongkong.It's a really perfect trip.I've made some friends there,we went shopping and swimming there.Then I went to Nanma island with them.It's so exciting.We fished there,and ate seafood.The seafood were all fished by us.I'll never forget this summer and when I back to China,I'll be there again.

DeleteLast semester in Japan finished end of the July, so I have a few summer vacation. Although due is very short, I traveled many places many place with my friends in Japan. I went to Yokohama, Saitama, Yamanashi and so on. Among them, most favorite place is Enoshima. Enoshima is one of the most famous beaches in Japan, so there are always a lot of people. However it was not crowded for some reason when I went to there. It was very exciting. I enjoyed playing beach volley ball and playing tag. It was best day in my summer vacation I think, and I will never forget this day. Next summer I want to go to there with my friends again.

DeleteI haven't been anywhere this summer. I have just stayed in my hometown with my friends.But I also enjoyed my summer because I could live and play with friends all the time.

My summer vacation at CESL. As you now, the last summer we had session at CESL, so I didn't have vacation for that reason I stayed at Tucson. However, we had "Ramadan" as we are Muslims, so that the good thing I had in last summer.
ReplyDeleteWell, actually the beginning of this summer holiday was a little bit boring. I was really busy because I worked in a photography studio fort one month. So I repeat doing the same thing everyday, just taking photos for my guests. It was not a easy job for me at the beginning, you must work hard enough to make sure consumers are pleased with your work which not only take high quality portraits for them but also provide them the meticulously services. Otherwise, I may get into trouble although my boss is a nice guy! At the end of July I quit my job and traveled to Yunnan Province. It was amazing to see the Yulong snow mountain!

My summer vacation, which was two weeks after my last session in CESL, was pretty normal .
I did not do anything interesting .
I stayed in my apartment, went to my friend’s apartment, and went to my sister out to have diner in Tucson.

but as you said, a good thing about the vacation is that it was during Ramadn
So, we did not have to go to anywhere during the day times in this hot season

In this summer, I went to poland this is in europe the good place in poland warsaw. I stay 4 day in same time i visited my friends i have two frinds study over there. Also, i took train from poland to german. this train connected almost of europe. then i want to austria this is my favorite place because it is rural. it is good for honeymoon. in addition, there are Salzburg or vienna. In salzburg, there is the big city snowstorm i think i'm not sure.
