Firstly, I agree with the pedestrians because they are in a free country and isn't risky. In my view,text while walking its fine because when you are walking you do not have anything to do. Here in the U.S I have seen a lot of people text while they walking specially teenagers people. Actually, I had an accident while I was walking.First, I was texting by my phone and I looked to my phone than I hit someone by accident. However, in Saudi Arabia, you can text while walking a lot of people do it. because that is not risky as text when you drive a car.
As for me, i agree with police' opinion. It is unsafe to text while walk. When you text while walk, you can not focus on text or walk. Maybe you get an accident. Besides, you need pay more attentiong to care surrounding. And you will feel nervous when you do it. Autcully, when you do it, you will break the traffic regulations. Pedestrian can not break the traffic regulations. Pedestrian should protect your own safety. (kiki)

I disagree because it is dangerous. when i was in saudi arabia often i saw accident from one person is texting while he is walking. Because it is impossible to focus in a street in the same time texting. There is Arabic idioms. No one has two hearts. I mean do two thing in the same time. Sometimes, you get nerves from the messages you read it then you will cross street without be attention that's why i agree suppose police man give anyone ticket when they are texting while they are walking
i disagree with the Pedestrians. i think that their action is not safe. more over they may meet with an accident. i saw the accidents of pedestrians in japan. especially, i saw the accident that car ran bump into pedestrians, i indeed thought pedestrians are dangerous. texting a mail is dangerous, so pedestrians must not do that for themselves.
I don't agree with this new law because it's not fair to have to pay an expensive ticket because i was texting. Technology is growing and the new way of communication is texting. We can't always take time out of our day to stop and text someone, we have places to be. Are they going to start giving tickets for people walking and talking on the phone? It's not dangerous. Maybe people shouldn't be jay-walking, but fine them for jay-walking. Don't fine them for texting.
in my viewpoint,i think we should not texting while driving,because it is too dangerous for the pedestrian and driver. when you are texeing,you may not notice the car is coming.when you notice that ,may be it is impossible for the driver to turn other direction.so, we should not do that.
